About
About Celebrate Aberdeen
Celebrate Aberdeen comprises a group of friends who have come together as volunteers to put on events in the city which shine the light on some of the best people and organisations that Aberdeen has to offer.

The First Parade
The first Celebrate Aberdeen event took place in 2011 and featured a third sector foot parade made up of more than 3,500 representatives from a wide range of charities, social enterprises and voluntary groups from across the city.
The Awards
As if that wasn’t enough, our wee team of volunteers decided that the next thing they wanted to organise was an awards ceremony so that the spotlight could be shone on our city’s third sector once more.
So on September 8th 2018, the Celebrate Aberdeen Awards were born.
We’re not stopping there though. We all have lots of ideas of what we could do next. So watch this space!
